Get ready for the 6th March 2025! World Book Day aims to offer every child the opportunity to have a book of their own; it’s all about encouraging children to read their way and to promote reading for pleasure.
As an annual celebration of all things books, authors and illustrators, it’s also a great opportunity for parents and guardians to get their child excited about reading and to spend time sharing stories as a family. Children can get involved on the day itself at school, discover new books with their friends and swap reading recommendations too.
