Premier League stars inspire inclusive learning with new anti-racism resources

Premier League has launched new No Room For Racism education resources, featuring top players offering advice to school children on tackling racism, promoting inclusion, and becoming active allies.

Available free to all primary schools in England and Wales through the Premier League Primary Stars programme, these resources are part of the Premier League’s ongoing commitment to support education, tackle discrimination, and promote equality.

The new resources – centred on Racism and Inclusion, Allyship, and Challenging Stereotypes – feature insights from players such as Abdoulaye Doucouré (Everton), Calvin Bassey (Fulham), and Bobby De Cordova-Reid (Leicester City), who share their own experiences of discrimination and advice on how to respond to and stand up against racism.

“Education is key. The children have a huge responsibility to change the future,” said Doucouré.
“Footballers are role models and idols for young people so when they speak on these topics, the message is stronger.”

Former and current players such as Demi Stokes, Rebecca Welch, Chloe Morgan, and Jorginho also appear across the resources, offering unique perspectives on allyship and equality, reinforcing football’s power to bring people together and inspire change.

Why this matters

Conversations about racism can be difficult for teachers to navigate. These new resources are designed to equip educators with the confidence and tools to have meaningful, age-appropriate conversations about race, identity, respect, and inclusion. By drawing on football’s unifying appeal, real-life role models, and expertly designed lessons, teachers can foster inclusive classroom environments where every pupil feels valued.

Premier League Primary Stars collaborates with education experts to provide webinars and guidance, supporting over 19,000 schools and engaging more than 1.3 million children annually.
