Family Favourite Epping Ongar Railway Returns This February
The Epping Ongar Railway has confirmed that its popular steam and heritage diesel services will return during the February half-term, following essential winter maintenance and staff training.
After a busy 2025 season, which saw recent ghoul-busting expeditions and festive events prove a huge hit, the railway is carrying out important engineering works over the winter to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors in the year ahead. While public services are paused, trains will continue to operate behind the scenes for maintenance, training and special activities.
Families can look forward to the return of steam and heritage diesel trains, along with connecting vintage London bus services, in time for February half-term.
