Created by Art Fund, the UK’s national charity for museums and galleries, Kids Aloud comes as new research reveals two-thirds of parents (65%) feel too worried or embarrassed to take their children to museums. Venues are throwing open their doors with dedicated, child-focused activities where kids are actively encouraged to be curious, playful, and fully themselves. Better yet, the research shows that a child-friendly museum keeps kids engaged for longer than watching television.
