Free RAF aircraft tour, Donard Park, Newcastle
The Tour will be open to the public from 11am – 6pm on Friday 10th and 9am – 6pm on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of August.
Visitors will be able to get up close to a mixture of active, heritage and replica aircraft on display, all of which have played a major part in the RAF’s 100 year history and will do so moving forwards.
The exhibition forms part of the RAF’s centenary celebrations which have been taking place since April. The event will also have an interactive STEM and technology zone, where attendees can learn more about how the RAF is creating the next generation Air Force.
The event is perfect for families looking for something to do over the weekend.
