Father Christmas brings Festive Fun to Junction this December

Offering some much needed festive fun after a challenging year, panto favourites TaleGate Theatre return to Junction with family musical Father Christmas Needs a Wee from Friday 18 December!

Adapted from Nicholas Allan’s original book by duo James Worthington (better known as Dame James) and Kate Lindsey, this is a magical journey for all ages using original songs, puppets and imaginative scenery trickery.

Father Christmas is on his rounds... and he needs a wee! At every house Father Christmas eats and drinks the tasty treats that have been left for him. But when he reaches number ten he realises that he’s forgotten to do something rather important and he really, really, really needs a WEE!

TaleGate hit the perfect combination of witty humour, fantastic music and the extra sparkle for which they have become known in this fabulously funny and brilliantly bouncy musical adaptation of Nicholas Allan’s much loved story.

There will also be a Relaxed performance on Sunday 20 December at 4pm, aimed at those on the Autism Spectrum and younger children attending the theatre for the first time. It will include reduced volume levels & low level lighting throughout and BSL interpretation. For more information about relaxed performances and suitability, please contact Box Office.
