St Wilfrid’s Procession- 30th July Ripon’s big day is back
Gather all your friends and family and head to the market square from 1.45pm on Saturday 30th July to witness the triumphant return of the St Wilfrid’s procession. With free entertainment from local singers and performers, children’s funfair rides and much more, the procession is reawakening from its Covid 19 enforced slumber.
This year marks the 1350th anniversary of Ripon cathedrals consecration by St Wilfrid in 672 AD, making the 2022 procession especially poignant but more importantly, provides a bigger reason to celebrate. Here’s to a successful and fun filled event!
