Local Mum Launches Busy Little Brains to Help Families with Fun, Educational Summer Activities
A local Pocklington mum has launched a new downloadable activity brand, Busy Little Brains, aimed at helping families keep young children entertained and learning through the summer holidays — all without screens.
Created by mum-of-two and early years enthusiast Jess, Busy Little Brains offers monthly themed activity packs filled with imaginative crafts, phonics games, and educational play ideas for children aged 3 to 7. The activities are curriculum-linked and designed to support Early Years and Key Stage 1 development — making it easy for parents to enjoy meaningful, screen-free fun at home.
To celebrate the launch, Jess is offering a free Mini Summer Explorers Pack, which includes three printable activities, an educational guide, and a colourful completion certificate — ideal for rainy days, holiday boredom, or keeping little brains active before school returns.
“As a parent, I know how tricky the holidays can be — you want to keep your children happy, but also feel like you're supporting their learning,” says [Your Name]. “Busy Little Brains was born out of my own need for simple, fun, purposeful activities that don’t require hours of prep or loads of materials.”
