New Play Area opens at York Designer Outlet ahead of fun filled half term

York Designer Outlet has been working hard to reopen a brand-new play area just in time for the half term. Along with amazing discounts and events for all ages, it's set to be the perfect destination for the whole family.
The play area opened today, 24 October, and tiny adventurers are invited to swing, slide and climb at the new play area, fitted with inclusive play equipment.
During the half term the Outlet is also running Professor Hoot’s Magical Mix-up Trail for a spellbinding adventure around the Centre. Find all 8 hidden potions to receive a special treat from the Guest Services desk.
The fun doesn’t stop there; little ones can also enjoy free face painting - perfect for becoming their favourite magical creature or animal while getting into the Halloween spirit. Face painting will be available from 11AM-4PM, Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October.
However, half term is not just for the kids at the Designer Outlet, as the popular Late Night Shopping Event returns. Shoppers can enjoy an extra 20% off outlet prices when visiting between 9AM - 10PM on 29 & 30 October. Get your Christmas shopping started early, taking advantage of these not-to-miss offers.
During the event, the Centre invites shoppers to take part in their fun, fast-paced Drop to Win game where prizes from your favourite brands are up for grabs! It’s free to play and full of surprises, running every hour between 11AM and 6PM.
