Honestly where do our lost socks go?
We’ve all got odd socks in our drawers, it’s a fact of life, but how do they end up odd is and always will be a mystery. 
Did you wash it? Is it still in the laundry basket? Did it ever make it to the laundry basket? So the odd sock goes back into the drawer in the hope that one day it will be matched with the missing sock.
You could use the scoks, here’s a few ideas to help you make good use of any odd socks in your drawer.
- Make puppets – hours of fun in the school holidays
- Make a draught extractor
- Make a Potpourri bundle – add potpourri to your odd socks, tie up the end and pop in a drawer or even put them in your trainers!
- Use them as a duster, especially cleaning vertical blinds – perfect for hands
- Rags – perfect for cleaning windows, cars, white boards.
- When packing put a breakable item inside a sock to help cushion and protect
- Perfect for cleaning shoes, you can rub polish around all the shoe.
Tuesday 9th May is Lost Sock Day and if you feel really brave you could always wear odd socks for the day to celebrate or you could throw out your single socks and start afresh.
