Review: Foxy wants to shake off Alphonso the pesky alligator. Foxy wants to meet Ebenezer the film star but Alphonso keeps getting in the way. Will Foxy ever go on a date with Ebenezer or will Alphonso's big warty bum stop her?

This book only took me about 53 minutes to read. The pictures are funny but I think the characters could have been more imaginative. The story was not great. It was a bit young for me - more suitable for 5-7 year olds. I would give this book one star out of five.

Review: This book was about sword that had been stolen by some vikings.

The heroes Arthur and Finn  (modern day boys who have been put in an ancient enchantment
and transported back in time where they are given a task to right a wrong), went on a quest to
find and recover the sword, and capture the culprit. The sword was called the 'blood hunter' and
viking warriors believed that the gods had made it to help them in battle. The sword was decorated
in jewels and was very valuable. I really liked this book because it has lots of action in it.

Review: This book is part of a series, this is book 5. There are lots of different characters and

subplots and the book is well written.   I think it would better if you had read some of the eariler

But just when Frog thinks things can't get any worse, he discovers he is actually the prince of an invading alien army and that he's just given the go-ahead for an all-out alien invasion. BUY IT ON AMAZON

Review: This book is about a frog called Prince Frog who was rescued by Buttercup because the world was ending. None of the kingdom believed her, not even the King and Queen! Buttercup found a golden egg in the river and ran away with it. She also found a little island where the egg hatched into a baby frog. Ever since he was tiny, Prince Frog wanted to go to the end of the world but Buttercup tells him "No". Will he go or not ?

I liked this book because some of the bits were written by Frog and his spelling style is wrong. What I disliked about this book was that it was bad when the evil person nearly killed Prince Frog. I would recommend this book to my friends as it was funny and sad too. It was the right length of book to read. I would give it 5/5

Shoutykid- How Harry Riddles Made a
Mega-Amazing Zombie Movie

By Simon Mayle

Published by: HarperCollinsChildren'sBooks
ISBN: 0007531885

Meet the funniest kid in fiction!

Hi there,

My name is Harry Riddles and I am ten years old which my mum says is too young to have problems but she is WRONG. My dad just lost his job, which means we might have to move house and I need money to make my mega-amazing zombie movie but there is NO WAY I will sell my X-box! I’ve written to the Queen, Harry Styles, and the people off Dragons’ Den who might be able help but I don’t know if they’ll write back. If you have any bright ideas for making money I’d love to hear them and I can tell you how to get past level 6 on World of Zombies if you like. BUY IT ON AMAZON

Review: This book is full of emails between Harry and his cousin Charlie as Harry writes a zombie movie. Harry's Dad made a film called Bad Monkey but he needs to sell another movie.  Harry agrees to help out on The Pumpernickel, the school play, so that he can spend time with Jessica. At the last minute there is Illness in the cast - will Harry save the day?

If you like Tom Gates books you might enjoy shouty kid. It took a while to get used to the email style. This book is very funny - especially the chapters about the school play and the emails from Harry to real people in the movies to help him and his Dad with their films.  I would give this book 3 stars out of 5.

Review: I give this book 10 out of 10.

I liked the way the author chose the names of all the space ports, ships, and all of the characters. Nanoo, ISS Colossus are examples. The author had a good sense of humour for example, naming an illegal space port papa-dons, it was funny because the main character said it as papadoms (poppadoms)!!

I did not find the title of the book very appealing, but once I started the book, I couldn't wait to finish it.

I can't wait for the next book to come out!
