May holiday courses at Blackheath Conservatoire are Tiny Worlds themed! Taking creative inspiration from the little details, they have art classes focused on Alice in Wonderland, the Borrowers and a bug’s paradise. Students will learn skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage to create their own mini worlds. Parents are also catered for with classes in oils and watercolour zooming into the tiny world of a flower (or their own self-portrait)!
The Lewis Carroll thread continues with a series of family concerts on Sunday 1st June. And for more active musicians on offer is ukulele and a taster of the fantastic and popular Roundabout programme, which allows children to learn six instruments over the course of a year. Why not try it out and then sign up in autumn?
“My son didn’t know which instrument to choose, so we were thrilled when we found out he could have a go at six of them. He has loved them all so far and still doesn’t know what to choose but we’ve got one more term to decide!” - Roundabout parent.
