Tucked inside the historic Royal Arsenal on the Thames, Woolwich Works is one of London’s most exciting family arts destinations - and this season’s programme is packed with unmissable experiences for little ones and grown-ups alike.
On 10th May, beloved picture book creator (‘You Choose’, ‘Shark in the Park’, ‘Pants’ and more) Nick Sharratt brings his infectious energy to a live Drawalong event - the perfect chance for budding artists to pick up their pens and draw along with one of children’s publishing’s best-loved illustrators.
Later in the month, Claytime (29th May) invites young children into a wonderfully tactile, sensory world. This is hands-on creativity at its purest - audience participation is encouraged, guided by artists in a warm and playful environment. Ideal for curious hands and imaginations that love to make and explore.
Then in June, prepare to be dazzled by The Bubble Show (14th June) - a spectacular, laugh-filled performance using giant bubbles, incredible shapes and plenty of audience magic, guaranteed to delight children of every age.
With world-class arts in a stunning riverside setting just minutes from central London, Woolwich Works is the perfect day out this spring.
