This December, Taunton Brewhouse invites audiences to step into a world of festive wonder with their musical adaptation of The Nutcracker, directed by Sasha Wilson.
Running from 2nd – 28th December, this reimagined classic follows Clara as she’s whisked from a glittering Christmas Eve ball into an enchanted world threatened by the Evil Rat Queen. With a live soundtrack inspired by English folk melodies and nods to Tchaikovsky’s original score, it’s a heartwarming celebration of courage, friendship, and family.
Accessibility takes centre stage, with BSL-interpreted, audio described, and relaxed performances ensuring everyone can enjoy the show. Plus, special school performances offer an unforgettable Christmas treat for younger audiences.
Enhance your visit with a festive sharing box – turkey slices, pigs in blankets, cheddar cheese, and more – available before all 3pm and 7pm performances. Family Packs also offer great value on select dates, and the theatre’s Pay It Forward campaign, in partnership with local charities Christmas Sparkle and Taunton Foodbank, ensures no one misses out on the magic.
From twinkling lights to heroic battles, this is Christmas theatre at its most joyful. For further information and to book tickets, visit www.tauntonbrewhouse.co.uk
