Top Tips for Family Fun in London Bridge this Summer

Get the flip flops and suncream on and make the short trip over to London Bridge with the kids this summer. You’ll find plenty of free, memorable things to keep playful minds busy.

Summer by the River Family Week takes place 23rd-25th July, in Hay’s Galleria and The Scoop, including free film screenings, craft workshops and live theatre. Don’t miss the Encanto Sing-alongs. Then on 3rd-4th August, the Fiya House Hip Hop Weekender will be the place to be, also in The Scoop, boasting free interactive workshops for all the family, world-renowned dance artists and incredible live DJs. It's a big sporting summer, and there's nothing better than cheering on Team GB in the Olympics as part of a crowd. Get behind the stars of track and field, as well as Wimbledon and much more, as events are screened live at Summer by the River in London Bridge City, 30th May - 1st September.

Alternatively, just take a picnic and enjoy the parks and gardens of London Bridge – go to atlondonbridge.com and follow the Green Spaces Trail. There are three playgrounds en route and more coffee stops than you can shake a stick at! See www.atlondonbridge.com for more ideas.
