St Dunstan’s College celebrates glowing inspection report which praises celebration of diversity

St Dunstan’s College, a renowned school in South London, is celebrating its latest inspection report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), conducted in April 2024. The report highlights two key strengths: the school's innovative curriculum and its strong focus on diversity.

Headteacher Nick Hewlett expressed his delight, stating, “I am thrilled to share this report with our community. We are one of the first schools in the country to receive two significant strengths, acknowledging our progressive education and commitment to diversity.”

The ISI praised the "breadth and relevance" of St Dunstan’s four timetabled curriculums, which provide students with wide-ranging learning experiences. It noted the ambitious curriculum as a major strength, ensuring all pupils are exposed to various educational opportunities.

The second strength recognised the school’s commitment to celebrating diversity. The report highlighted St Dunstan’s inclusive ethos, from student-led groups to the annual St Dunstan’s Festival, which promote respect and understanding within the school and the wider community.

The inspection comes as the school marks a milestone, celebrating its best-ever A Level results. An impressive 88% of A Level grades were A*-B, with 61% at A or A*.
