A sparkling new festive show at the Albany this winter
It’s Christmas Eve, and Gerda the littlest mouse must journey through the snowy forest to rescue her best friend Kai from the Snow Queen’s spell. Can she break the spell and save Bluebell Wood in time for Christmas? She’ll need courage, kindness… and your help!
Featuring sing-along songs, puppetry, dance, and snowy surprises, this heart-warming tale celebrates friendship, kindness, and the magic of helping others.
Presented by Icon Theatre and the award-winning team behind the Saves Christmas series, Well Done, Mummy Penguin and The Lion Inside. This brand-new adaptation of a classic fairy tale is the perfect festive treat for 3-8 year olds and their grown-ups.
The Snow Queen: A Woodland Adventure will premiere at the Albany in Deptford from 2 – 24 December 2025. Performances on week days for schools and nurseries are also available. A Relaxed and BSL interpreted performance will be held on Saturday 13 December at 11am. Tickets are £14, or book as a group of four to receive a discount of £2 per ticket.
