Springtime Magic at the Unicorn Theatre

This spring, the Unicorn Theatre is bursting with imagination, laughter and wonder, welcoming families to two joyful productions that celebrate curiosity, creativity and courage.

For the very youngest theatre-goers, Squirrel (Sat 17th Jan–Sun 22nd Feb) is a gentle delight. Full of charm, puppetry and playful participation, the show follows a fussy but lovable squirrel who treasures the perfect acorn, and must remember where it’s been buried! Set against a soundscape of jazz, Squirrel is a story of new beginnings that invites babies and toddlers to explore, engage and wonder. Recommended for children aged six months to four years, it’s an ideal first theatre experience.

Older children and parents alike will be captivated by By Trial and Error (Wed 11th–Sun 22nd Feb), a heartwarming acrobatic show from acclaimed French company Le Cirque Content Pour Peu. Blending incredible physical skill with humour inspired by silent cinema, the show follows two acrobats as doubt interrupts their routine. What unfolds is a joyful celebration of resilience, teamwork and learning from mistakes.

With shows for every age and a location just a short stroll from London Bridge station, the Unicorn Theatre’s spring season makes a brilliant family trip this February half term and long after.

Tickets from £10 across the season, with an exclusive 25% off for Primary Times readers over February half term using code PRIMARY25. Visit unicorntheatre.com for details. (Subject to availability).
