Over centuries, we've always imagined a better, greener world called Arcadia.
Thanks to National Lottery funding and as part of a three year London-wide partnership called Climatekind, Stanley Arts is producing its second ‘Arcadia Festival’, inspiring Londoners to build a fairer and healthier future - now.
Four commissioned artists will present new theatre spanning dance, performance ritual, spoken-word poetry, a puppet-filled musical for children, and interactive installations, each exploring different responses to the climate and nature crisis and our intrinsic relationship with the natural world.
Post-show conversations led by Force of Nature and Pigfoot Theatre will explore how to engage communities and young people in climate action, and how Stanley Arts and others in the theatre sector are embedding environmental responsibility into their work.
