Visit the Norman Castle for free as part of Heritage Open Days. Take in the long history of this amazing building and climb the steps to the top of the tower. Why not design and colour your own shield to defend the Castle Keep from potential invading armies? What will you include on your shield – something terrifying to scare the enemy away perhaps? 12pm until 4.30pm. Also on Saturday 14th September 10am until 4.30pm.
