The Little Princess Trust Launches New Digital Packs to Educate Children on Charity Work and Cancer Awareness

New assembly packs and lesson plans have been created to help children learn all about the work of The Little Princess Trust.

The charity, which has its headquarters in Hereford, receives a huge amount of support from young people across the country and designed the digital kits to show children how their selfless acts help to make wigs for those with hair loss.

The packs, which also tell children how The Little Princess Trust works with cancer researchers, are freely available thanks to the charity’s partnership with 1decision.

Included in the packs are:

• A digital on-screen assembly presentation.

• A digital on-screen lesson.

• Background guides for both the lesson and assembly with step-by-step instructions for each slide.

• Templated letters for parents and carers to explain the content of the assembly and lessons.

• Advice from childhood cancer specialists CCLG written in a language suitable for children.

• Useful links to enhance lessons with additional resources.

Wendy Tarplee-Morris, the Founder of The Little Princess Trust, says the packs increase children’s knowledge of how charities work as well as reducing their anxiety around the word ‘cancer’.
