Create Music classes this autumn

The start of the school year is a great time for children to take on a new activity, and research suggests that learning to play a musical instrument can help to raise young people’s confidence, improve concentration and strengthen memory skills, as well as benefitting overall wellbeing.

Create Music is on a mission to bring music to as many children as possible across Brighton & Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Rother, Wealden and the surrounding areas. It has a long history of delivering high-quality, inclusive music education and provides children and young people with the chance to explore their passion for music through lessons in schools, ensembles, projects, workshops and orchestras.

With their varied programme of school lessons and one of the largest selections of instruments to choose from in Sussex, Create Music help children and young people begin their lifelong journey with music. Lessons are offered in schools during school hours, or in their music centres.

The best part about making music is making it together, and they have plenty of opportunities to experience music making with others. Create Music have five music centres which host bands, ensembles, orchestras and vocal groups for students at any stage of their music education.
