Free Family Learning Days at Raystede
Join Raystede's free Family Learning Days every Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer holidays. Explore the site and learn more about the work of the rescue centre with two exciting new trails.
In late July and early August, take part in the Animal Olympics and help select the winning squad! Which animals will go for gold? Which animal will be the best jumper? Which will win the swimming and running races? Have a go at the 30 second hamster wheel challenge and show off your skills on the dog agility course in the garden!
Learn more about some of Raystede's lesser-known residents in August with the Terrapin's Tale trail. Follow the story of Terry the terrapin as you explore the beautiful site and visit Raystede's new terrapin sanctuary and 'Shell-ter'. Enjoy a tortoise treasure hunt in the learning garden, and then take a break in the yurt cinema. Why not take on an origami challenge in the craft room to take home your own terrapin?
