Amberley Museum has a vibrant calendar of events for July and August
The summer kicks off with the Large Steam Show on 6th-7th July, featuring an array of impressive steam engines. On 13th July, the Classic Car Show will showcase beautifully restored vintage vehicles, attracting car enthusiasts from near and far. 19th July is dedicated to the Daimler and Lanchester Club, celebrating these iconic car brands. The Rail Gala Weekend on 20th-21st July promises a treat for all, with industrial locomotives in action.
From 24th July to 1st September, the museum offers Summer Holiday Activities, providing family-friendly entertainment and educational fun throughout the summer break. The 1980s Weekend on July 27-28th will take visitors on a nostalgic journey back to the '80s, complete with fashion and memorabilia!
In August, the Retro Wheels event on 3rd-4th will exhibit the evolution of cycles through the ages. Commercial & Communications Day on 18th August focuses on the history of commerce and communication technologies. The summer concludes with A Taste of Sussex on 24th-26th August, celebrating local food, drink, and culture, offering a delightful experience for all visitors.
