Amberley Museum has an exciting line-up of events this October!

Starting with the Discworld and Industrial Trains Day on 20th October. Dive into Terry Pratchett’s beloved Discworld universe while exploring vintage locomotives and industrial marvels. This is an opportunity to see the museum in a new way as they link different areas of the displays with different Discworld quotes and encourage visitors to develop their own creative responses.

Next, the museum presents Halloween Evening on 26th October, perfect for those seeking spooky thrills. As the night falls, the museum will transform with ghostly train rides, eerie lighting, and spooky surprises around every corner. This evening promises chills and thrills in a safe, fun environment.

During October half term families can enjoy a week of engaging activities. Take part in the Not-So-Scary Spider Trail, crafting sessions, discover the industrial heritage of the museum, and enjoy rides on the narrow-gauge train. The half term event offers a great way to spend time with family. On Friday 1st November, have a go at the traditional craft of woodturning with the West Sussex Woodturners and take home a small wooden keepsake (£1.50 charge per person).
