What’s On at Brighton Dome this Autumn

Everyone is welcome at October’s free open day Family Day Take Part. Presented by African Night Fever and Brighton & Hove Black History, the day is dedicated to celebrating multi-cultural arts and heritage and will include dance, drumming, delicious food, arts and crafts and much more.

A re-imagining of Cinderella uses a top team of actor-musicians alongside songs, dancing and a bit of magic to add new twists to a classic tale. The Glass Slippers is a story of a girl who is brave, strong, clever and determined to prove herself.

During the inaugural Brighton Dome Comedy Festival, children can have their turn in the spotlight in Phil Kay’s hilarious, interactive Gimme Your Left Shoe. Brighton Festival sell-outs Shelf also return with The Kids’ Show; an hour of pranks, slapstick, songs and silliness.

Over half term, Luna Loves Library Day: The Musical takes audiences on an adventure through the library shelves in an adaptation of Joseph Coehlo’s much-loved picture book of the same name. Later in autumn, Drag Queen Story Hour promises colourful characters and hilarious antics that will make everyone smile.

Children can also take part in Brighton Dome’s Playmakes arts and crafts sessions; an opportunity for collaging, model making, puppetry and more inspired by the venue’s family shows, with all materials provided.
