Kingston Museum’s Saxon Fayre 2024
Explore the skills and trades from 410 - 1066.
The Fayre celebrates the extraordinary craftsmanship that developed in the Saxon period and explores how these methods and practices are still in use today.
Highlights of the day include Surbiton Forge, Kingston Beekeepers Association and Little Sherwood Farm Experience’s animals. There will be music, performances and even historical demonstrations too!
You can find opportunities to dress up, buy handmade crafts, learn about history and have a go at different activities throughout the day, so go along and enjoy this exciting event for all the family!
