Take centre stage with Rose Youth Theatre Summer Schools
The popular Rose Youth Theatre Summer Schools are back for 2024! There’s a great selection of courses to choose from to get stuck into during the holidays.
For Years 3 – 6, the Three Day Courses are full of fun drama-based activities, crafts, exercises and skills. In small groups, work with a Rose Youth Theatre director from Wednesday to Friday and create a short piece of theatre to be shared with families on the final day! Meet new people, create imaginative stories, learn drama and performance skills – and most importantly, have fun!
For Years 7+, the exciting Play in a Week courses offer the chance to take a play from page to stage in just six days! Work alongside like-minded young actors with a professional director to create a scripted production that will be performed to families at the end of the week. These courses are a great opportunity to make new friends, take on challenging direction, gain experience and learn new skills. Titles this year include The Odyssey, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Gulliver’s Travels and more!
