Make memories to treasure this Christmas at Ham House and Garden!

Bring along the whole family for a festive day out at Ham House and Garden in Richmond. Kids can enjoy a spotter trail inspired by Ham’s resident cat, Roscoe, inside the spectacular 17th-century house – a fun way to explore stunning rooms decorated with Christmas trees, twinkling lights and glistening decorations. In the historic kitchen, little ones will love the impressive sugar banquet display made by volunteers.

Head to the maze-like Wilderness part of the garden for family-friendly activities and have a go at traditional Christmas games. There’s plenty of space in the gardens for a winter stroll or even a game of hide and seek as you discover outdoor decorations. Winter-themed spotter sheets are available too and a fun way to engage little ones with nature.

For extra festive cheer, join in with carol singing on selected weekends.

The Orangery Café is the perfect spot to warm up with a hot chocolate, light lunches and seasonal treats.

A Gilded Christmas at Ham runs 30th November 2024 until 1st January 2025 (closed 24th and 25th December). Admission applies; free for National Trust members. Spotter trail and games included in admission. House open 12-4pm, last entry 3.30pm. Gardens open 10am-4pm, last entry 3.30pm. For more details, visit: nationaltrust.org.uk/ham-house
