Stars of Wonder: Christmas 2025 at Ham House and Garden!
Plan a festive family day out to Ham House and Garden on the River Thames in Richmond. This year’s theme, Stars of Wonder, takes inspiration from an 18th-century celestial globe in Ham House’s collection, which returned from conservation earlier this year.
Expect stars galore alongside Ham’s classic Christmas moments of magic – from a towering Christmas tree in the Great Hall and an intricate banquet display to handmade decorations and aromatic greenery.
Follow a spotter trail with little ones around the 17th-century rooms as you take in Christmas trees, beautiful decorations and twinkling candlelight along the way.
Discover a reading nook with cushions, children’s books and a Christmas tree in the Back Parlour, then head below stairs for more activities. Have a go at dressing up and letter writing to the North Pole, too!
Find festive crafts in the Garden Room and light refreshments in the Kitchen Garden’s Orangery.
Stars of Wonder: Christmas 2025 runs from 29th November 2025 to 4th January 2026 (closed 24th and 25th December). House open 12-4pm; gardens open 10am-4pm. Last entry 3.30pm. Activities included in admission / free for members. For more details, visit: nationaltrust.org.uk/ham-house
