Spooky Family Fun at the Museum of Richmond this October Half Term
Looking for a truly hauntingly good time this October half term? Head down to the Museum of Richmond for a family adventure that blends local history with spine-tingling seasonal fun!
Running from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th October 2026, between 10am and 12 noon, the museum is hosting a fantastic workshop: Spooky Stained Glass. Families can embark on a spooky tour of Richmond Palace’s ghostly remains, uncovering chilling tales of its royal inhabitants and the secrets they left behind. Afterward, little ones and grown-ups alike can let their creativity shine by making their own beautiful, spooky stained glass inspired by the palace’s rich royal history.
The fun doesn't stop there. Visitors can also enjoy free museum crafts throughout October featuring 'Gorgeous Ghosts', alongside interactive free trails that turn gallery exploration into an exciting quest of discovery.
It is the perfect, budget-friendly way to keep children entertained, inspired, and engaged with local heritage during the school break. Step away from the screens, dive into the past, and enjoy a wonderfully atmospheric half-term experience together.
