A workshop for curious young people aged 10–16 who enjoy asking questions and looking more closely. The Wonder Workshop explores the stories behind objects in The Bowes Museum’s collection, from how mechanisms work to the meaning of symbols in paintings and the history of well-known pieces such as the Silver Swan. Blending art with ideas from science, technology, engineering and maths, this session encourages participants to think creatively and dig deeper.
