YORK SPRING FAIR & FOOD FESTIVAL

York Spring Fair & Food Festival is a brand-new event bringing together one of the largest vintage funfairs seen in North Yorkshire for many years and a Food Festival showcasing the very best artisan products from Yorkshire and beyond.

Get out and have fun over Spring Bank Holiday and half term, at the Clocktower Enclosure at York Racecourse, from 28th May to 6th June.

Take an exhilarating ride on the 1936 Speedway, race round the Brooklands Dodgems from 1937, go for a spin on the stunning 1930s Chair-o-Plane or get a bird's eye view from the Big Wheel! Enjoy the beautiful Carousel, Twister, Lighthouse Helter-Skelter, Octopus and many more exquisite rides!

Children will love riding the Toy Set, Swing Boats, Muffin the Mule and Hush Hush the Train - the oldest ride made in 1933 - plus there’ll be giggles galore with Magic Mirrors.

Win a prize every time at the game stalls – test your skills at the Rifle Range, for some competitive family fun have a go at Football Darts, or try your luck with Hook-a-Duck. There’s prizes aplenty!

Then treat your tastebuds to some of the finest locally-produced food and drinks and support local traders after the long months of lockdown – there’ll be bakeries and beers, savoury and sweet treats, as well as cheeses to please and the Berry Best Ice Cream. A vintage double decker bus – the Yorkshire Bus Bar – will add more than a touch of colour, serving fabulous local gins and Yorkshire’s finest ales as well as a range of other refreshments.

ADMISSION*: £3 for adults, children 12 and under FREE. Open 10am until 6pm.

*Admission price excludes rides and game stalls - tokens for these can be purchased on site at £3 per person. *Booking fees apply.
