Teesside mums achieve Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage qualification with Ixion Holdings.
A group of smiling Teesside mums were presented with their certificates and a goody bag at Shaw Trust EAC centre in Middlesbrough. They are now fully qualified Massage therapists.
They have been studying hard and learning how to do Body, Stone Therapy, Indian head massage as well as massage with pre-blended Aromatherapy oils. The course also includes Client Care, Health and Safety, Tanning and individual eyelash extensions.
They have attended the course in term time 2 days per week from 9.30am-2.30pm while their children were in school or nursery and all have also achieved a Level 2 infection control qualification for working in the Beauty industry.
Both qualifications have enabled some of them to secure part time employment in local spas and salons and as self-employed massage therapists. Others have progressed to Level 3 Nail Technology and/or Level 3 Make-up artistry courses.
