Drinking water has become something of a badge of honour amongst celebrities, with some revealing they drink up to three litres a day. Yet not everyone finds drinking water so easy, with new national research from the innovative water bottle, air up, now revealing that 30% of Brits find water boring, and as such, do not drink it often.
For many of us, the importance of drinking water to stay hydrated is often associated with the need to quench thirst under the heat of the summer sun. In reality however, our necessity to stay hydrated extends to all times of the year, with the NHS recommending 6-8 glasses of water a day. Research from the hydration innovators also highlights that 45% of Brits admit to only drinking one glass of water a day, with water consumption halving for millions during the winter months. Further to this, 12% say that their sugar addiction stems from sugary drinks, with 27% stating that their addiction to sugary drinks has had a detrimental impact on their health.
