St. Joseph's Catholic Academy Shines at BETT 2025


Students from St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Stockton, showcased their talents at BETT 2025, the world’s leading education technology event in London.

The school participated in the Innovation X competition, which challenges students to develop solutions aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


A standout moment was the outstanding performance of The Dancing Divas (Amber, Emily, Leila, Scarlett and Thea), who secured first place in the Good Health and Well-Being category with their energetic routine, earning praise from spectators and judges.


William, an aspiring poet, also impressed, winning second place in the poetry competition with his heartfelt piece. His success highlights the school’s commitment to creativity and self-expression.


Adding to the celebrations, St. Joseph’s was recognised as Change Makerz on Sustainability, acknowledging its dedication to integrating environmental responsibility into education.


Headteacher Anthony McGeeney said: "We are incredibly proud of our students. Their success at BETT 2025 reflects their talent, hard work, and the values we promote at St. Joseph’s. Seeing them excel on such a prestigious stage is inspiring."
