Did you know childcare funding is changing?

The government is extending funding to support the cost of childcare for eligible working parents. This is in addition to the childcare funding schemes already in place for two, three and four-year-olds. Parents who work and earn under £100K per year may be eligible to get this help.

From April 2024, eligible working parents of two-year-olds will be able to access 15 hours of funded (free) childcare per week, 38 weeks of the year.

From September 2024, 15 hours childcare support will also be offered to eligible working parents of children from the age of nine months to three years of age.

From September 2025, eligible working parents of children under the age of five will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare a week.
