Northern Ballet are offering Primary Times readers the chance to win tickets for you and your family to see their brand new ballet for children Tortoise & the Hare which, having recently been adapted for CBeebies, is currently on a nationwide tour.

Once upon a time there was a speedy Hare who never stopped talking about how fast he could run. Tired of being teased for his slowness, Tortoise challenged him to a race. No one thought he could win, but life is full of surprises!

Following the sell-out successes of Ugly Duckling, Three Little Pigs and Elves & the Shoemaker, as well as their TV adaptations for CBeebies, Northern Ballet now bring their magic to Aesop’s much-loved fable.

Tortoise & the Hare is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre. You can win 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children) to a venue of your choice until the end of the tour in October.

For more information and a full list of venues the production is touring to, please visit www.northernballet.com/tortoise

For your chance to win, simply answer the following question:

Who wrote the much-loved fable  of ‘Tortoise & the Hare’ on which Northern Ballet’s production is based?
