The role: Advertising Sales Account Manager (full-time or part-time, depending on your experience)
Hours:
Full Times 5 days, 37.5 hours per week. Half an hour for lunch, there may be a requirement to work at other times.
Part time 4 days, 30 hours per week. Half an hour for lunch, there may be a requirement to work at other times. Hours negotiable for the right person.
Holidays: pro rata per annum plus Bank Holidays
Package for Full Time position: OTE Earnings – basic salary, bonus & on target commission £21,295 p.a. Plus opportunity to earn additional uncapped over target commission, eg circa. £28295
Package for Part Time position: OTE Earnings – basic salary, bonus & on target commission, £14,076 p.a. Plus considerable opportunity to earn additional uncapped over target commission, e.g. circa. £21076 p.a.
Summary
Write Place Media is a busy, creative, friendly publishing company, producing successful family magazines from offices in Kenton, near Exeter. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Sales Account Manager to join us in the production of Primary Times magazines and digital sales. This is a full/part-time permanent position.
Job Purpose
Advertising Sales Account Manager work to maximize advertisement volumes and revenue with print and digital from a given category or territory.
To maintain and develop a high standard of customer relationship and goodwill at all times.
Maintaining and increasing business from existing accounts, through to the introduction of new accounts.

Main Responsibilities
To maintain and increase business from existing accounts
To identify and maximise revenue from new accounts
To maintain and develop a high standard of customer relationship and goodwill
To maintain a designated territory on the database with relevant, readable, comprehensible information
To adhere to company policy regarding customer discounts, credits, free orders, credit control
To maintain correct customer notes, quotes, confirmations, opportunities and keep up to date personal workbooks and sales
To respond to queries effectively, efficiently and in a professional and polite manner
To maintain all resources in a clean and tidy condition
To assist in all other routine tasks and to undertake other duties as and when required
Partake in frequent face to face meetings with clients.
