As you are no doubt aware, various events will be taking place across the region to celebrate 70 years of service by Her Majesty The Queen. As well as activities during the extended bank holiday from 2nd to 5th June, there will also be themed things-to-do across communities and in other venues. We have pulled together a selection of events below and will add more as they become available.

The Queen’s Green Canopy – individuals, community groups, villages, cities, schools and businesses are invited to plant trees to mark the Jubilee year:
The Big Jubilee Lunch – this year’s annual celebration for neighbours and community takes place during the Jubilee celebration and many events will be Jubilee themed.

Bear Town, Westcott, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1RZ. Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Bear Town by joining their mission to locate the missing jewels to receive a reward! All included in the standard admission price.
45 streets across Plymouth will be closed to traffic for street parties at some point over the extended bank holiday weekends for street parties - see the Plymouth Council website for details
Activities include Beacon lighting, lantern parade for adults and children, a street party on Fore Street, hobby horse derby and other fun children/parent races at Stanhope park.
Programme of activities throughout the weekend with the main performance stage being on the Den and other events taking place around the town. Beacon lighting on 2nd June with The Big Lunch taking place on 5th June. Visit the website for updates.
2nd June – Royal British Legion Picnic at the Legion Hut, lighting of the Beacon at Mead Farm.
5th June - ‘The Jubilee Big Lunch’ in North Street from 1pm with entertainment. Free lunches available for primary school age children and younger or bring your own and Early evening party. See website for full details
Lighting of The Queen’s Jubilee Beacons on Thursday 2nd. Music on the Meadows on Friday 3rd – free party with day and evening entertainment including a children’s tent.
Riviera Airshow on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th with an action packed flying programme, and event village with pilot meets and traders as well as family activities.
On Sunday, alongside the Airshow there will be a Jubilee Flotilla of water-craft and ‘The Big Lunch’ a giant airshow street party from 2pm on Paignton Green
Events throughout the weekend including a Family Fun Day on Saturday at Newcombes Park, celebrations for St Boniface in the Town Square on Sunday and The Big Sunday Lunch from 1pm with local performers and music.
Screening of The Queen’s Birthday Parade on the big screen in the Castle grounds on 2nd, outdoor family film screenings throughout the weekend with a Big Lunch event on 5th June.
2nd June – lighting of the town’s beacons at Highweek, Buckland and Wolborough,
4th June – live music in the town centre,
5th June – ‘Party In The Park’ at Courtenay Park with a royal themed band concert, music, bubbles, magician, face painting, balloon modelling, food, drink and more.
Live band and music, sonic firework display, street food, pop up bars, ice cream, craft activities, circus skills, face painting and more. Tickets via the website.
Explore the power of steam with a tour, craft your own bunting, enjoy the temporary Jubilee Exhibition and plant a tree to help support the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.
