Sootyland at Crealy Feature
A whole new area of Crealy Theme Park and Resort, near Exeter!
Earlier this year, Crealy Theme Park and Resort was excited to open their all-new Sooty Land area at their location just outside Exeter. Members of the Primary Times Devon Team took their families along for a visit to try out the new activities and attractions.
For over 70 years, Sooty and his pals have been entertaining generations of children and families and this new area helps to celebrate this achievement with an array of rides and attractions, food and drink stands as well as a live daily performance of The Sooty Show with the star himself!
At Sooty Land, as with the rest of the Crealy park there are a mixture of activities to get involved with regardless of the weather with the indoor area transformed into 'The Pier' where you will find:

A new indoor play facility with the South West's first interactive strike Arena play area

Sooty's Carnival Games and themed beach huts which include interactive digital wall ball games as well as the opportunity to take part in some friendly competitive fun with games such as Giant Twister, Tetris and Magi Blocks

Sooty's Magic Mirror Maze - a fun, optical illusion challenge

A Hall of Fame mini-museum which contains all you need to know about The Sooty Show by taking visitors through the seven decades that he has been entertaining families and showcasing props, memorabilia and sets.

A dance studio and an opportunity to take photos at Sooty's stage.

The Sooty Store also offers visitors the chance to pick up some official Sooty merchandise including magic sets, stationery and, of course, very special puppets!
Outside, visitors can take the opportunity to enjoy 4 brand new rides*!
Sooty's Magic Bus takes visitors on a ride up and down for views across the park.
Soo's Sweet Balloon Ride gives visitors the opportunity to go up, up and away as well as spinning the wheel if you want to go faster!
Sweep's Flying Circus invites riders to step aboard their own circus themed plane and be lifted into the air.
Izzy Wizzy Let's Get Dizzy - visitors are encouraged take a spin in colourful cars around the track

Sooty's Big Top Showtime, which takes place in Sooty's very own Showtime Arena, is a daily opportunity to see a live performance of The Sooty Show with Sooty, Sweep and Soo all in attendance as well as plenty of opportunity for audience participation.
There's also no need to go hungry with no less than four The Sooty Show themed places to eat to cater for all tastes- Sooty's Diner, Soo's Cafe, Sweep's Hot Dog and Seaside Spuds!
