- Good Housekeeping have compiled a list of the best stargazing apps for iPhones and Androids with charged and free options.
- The NASA Space Place online resource is full of a fantastic range of information and fun activities that are perfect for parents to implement at home with their children. The 'Spot The Station' online tool, also hosted by NASA, contains a live space station tracking map
- Visit the International Space Station using Google Earth
- CBBC has an entire section dedicated to space information and activities as well as a Newsround guide of activities that will be taking place in space during this year
- Younger family members will love the space section of the CBBC website with some curated activities based around Space Week
- The BBC Bitesize website has earth and space resources for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

- The Facebook page of the National Space Centre in Leicester features a variety of weekly activities that can be carried out at home. It is also possible to watch the live launch to the International Space Station that took place on 30 June 2020 here. The news section of their website also has some interesting insights into their work as well as news updates.
- The Storybots space playlist on the Netflix Jr YouTube channel has some fun animations and songs to help younger members of the family learn more about the solar system, moon and other space elements
The Ted-Ed Youtube channel of high quality educational short videos has a playlist of 41 videos based around space which is fantastic for slightly older children entitled 'Out of This World' including the one below.
