Wildlife trust announces summer events

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust has announced its summer events programme for children and families at Robinswood Hill, Gloucester, starting with Minibeasts and Woodland Wildlife on Tuesday 27 July. Children are invited to learn about the wildlife and invertebrates at the country park, make a bug hotel and hunt the stone, painted ladybirds. Then there’s:

Wed 4 Aug, Wellbeing Wednesday: enrol nature’s help to looking after your physical and mental wellbeing. Suitable for the whole family.

Mon 9 Aug, Be a Wildlife SuperHero: learn about and sample different ways you can take action for nature.

Thu 12 Aug, Bird table making: make your own bird tables and bird food.

Tue 17 Aug, Celebrating Robinswood Hill: share memories of the country park and what makes it special. Take a walk in the woodland and enter the photography competition.

Wed 25 Aug, Young People’s Takeover: Take your own picnic and music, make a tiktok video about wildlife and share your Instagram story of “the best view” in Gloucester.

Also starting at Robinswood Hill is Nature Tots, 10am-11.30am on the last Wednesday of every month, £3 per child.
