Bredon School is a mainstream independent day and boarding school offering dyslexic teaching for children aged 8 to 18.
It provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where self-belief and confidence is nurtured to encourage success inside the classroom and further afield.
English and maths are taught daily in average class sizes of 12 pupils. In lessons, experienced teachers use dyslexia specialist teaching methods to ensure learning is engaging and fun. The timetable focuses on traditional subjects in the morning such as science, geography, history and R.E. In the afternoon pupils study the more active and creative subjects.
Bredon School offers pupils endless opportunities to excel outside the classroom and is home to a Forest School and working farm. Outdoor education sessions allow pupils to thrive in the extensive countryside setting with activities including canoeing, climbing and equestrian lessons. As an “active school”, sports lessons are on the timetable twice weekly, with regular fixtures.
Bredon provides the chance for children who have dyslexia or children who simply prefer learning in an engaging, inspiring and varied environment to achieve brilliant results through a different approach.
