Learn bike riding skills at Fly Up

Fly Up Bike Park's 100 acre setting on Crickley Hill just outside Gloucester claims to be the biggest privately owned mountain bike facility in England offering a variety of riding disciplines within one venue. During termtime it offers a weekend club (Saturday or Sunday) in five week blocks of lessons, catering for all abilities and run by fully qualified coaches who help to develop a child's riding while teaching new skills, building confidence and promising lots of fun. To join the club, book a session with one of the coaches who assess what group your child should join.

Fly Up's manager Dave Webb explains the many benefits of joining: "It's really good for building confidence, physical strength, mental agility and, of course, the fun process of reaching a goal." Its indoor tarmac pump track allows riders to practice body position, cornering, and a pumping technique to generate speed, where they can also learn jumps and drops.
