The hit shows keep coming!
I bet you didn’t know Tweedy is taking the starring role in ‘Mother Goose’, the blockbuster panto at The Everyman, Cheltenham, from Fri 24 Nov to Sun 7 Jan? “Oh, yes we did!” Ok, so let’s move on to the other great family shows coming up at the theatre.
Alternative seasonal fare comes with ‘The Ugly Duckling’ (Thu 30 Nov-Sat 30 Dec), set to delight young kids with its story of a scruffy outsider who grows up into something extraordinary. Then there’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ (Sat 25 Nov-Sat 30 Dec), in which horrid old Scrooge eventually learns the true meaning of Christmas.
Then, in March, look out for ‘Shrek’ (Tue 12-Sun 17 Mar) the hit musical based on the famous movie with a top-notch cast of West End performers, sure to have audiences dancing home.
