RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch 2025: 24-26th January
Big Garden Birdwatch returns! Taking place over the last weekend in January, it’s a wonderful way to connect with your local wildlife and also provides key information on how garden birds are faring in the UK amidst environmental challenges and climate change. The Big Garden Birdwatch started in 1979 and has become a popular and much-loved yearly event.
Taking part is simple and fun; spend an hour watching and counting the birds that land in your garden, local park or green space and then send your results to the RSPB. From blackbirds, pigeons, starlings and more, which birds will you see in your local area? Registration opens in mid-December. Take part with friends and family and discover the nature on your doorstep!
