Calling All Young Artists: Design a Mug for World Animal Day!

Looking for a fun and meaningful activity for the summer holidays? Why not get involved in this Design-a-Mug competition to celebrate World Animal Day 2025?

World Animal Day is a global movement dedicated to making the world a better place for animals. This year is extra special as it marks its 100th anniversary! The theme for 2025 is: ‘Save Animals, Save the Planet!’

Every year, Naturewatch Foundation Design-a-Mug competition invites young animal lovers across the UK to show off their creativity. It’s a brilliant opportunity for children to celebrate their love for animals, while getting the chance to see their artwork printed on a real mug!

So, whether your child is wild about whales, mad for meerkats, or inspired by your own four-legged friend, they want to see their best animal-themed artwork.

Here’s how to enter:

- Download the official mug template from the website: https://naturewatch.org/2025-world-animal-day-mug-competition/
- Create your design using pencils, crayons, paints, or digital art
- Submit your entry by email or post by 31st August 2025

The winning design will be featured on their official 2025 World Animal Day mug, with a fabulous prize for the runner-up in each age category.

Not only is this a chance to get creative, it’s also a way to show your support for animal welfare and the planet. By taking part, you’ll be joining children all over the world in speaking up for animals through art.

So, gather your art supplies, fire up your imagination, and help to celebrate 100 years of World Animal Day in style!

Naturewatch Foundation can’t wait to see your amazing designs - good luck!
