An exciting new Playworld facility is now open
at Parklands Leisure Centre
Parklands Leisure Centre, which is operated by
Everyone Active in partnership with Oadby and
Wigston Borough Council, offers an extensive range
of activities for all the family.
The latest offering at this fantastic centre is an exciting
Playworld facility, which offers a whole host of activities
for children of all ages.
The brand new soft play zone boasts a four tier multiactivity
soft play structure, featuring slides, foam ball
shooters and trampolines.
For the more adventurous children in the community,
there are twenty different climbing walls, which offer
a range climbing routes. The climbing centre offers
individually themed climbing challenges that provide
healthy, challenging fun for all ages and abilities.
The brand new Playworld facility forms part of a
regeneration project between Oadby and Wigston
Borough Council and Everyone Active to deliver
improved leisure facilities to the local community.
In November last year, Everyone Active took over
the management of Brocks Hill Centre. As part of the
redevelopment project, Everyone Active and Oadby and
Wigston Borough Council have extensively refurbished
the existing site.
The renewed centre now hosts a large activity area with
a wooden sprung floor which offers a fantastic space
for a wide variety of activities. Including educational
opportunities, conferences, parties and children’s
activities. The centre also boasts a new conference and
meeting room with the latest internet and technology
available.
