Swim for just 50p offer announced to Sileby residents
Swim for just 50p! at Fusion Lifestyle’s Loughborough, Soar Valley and South Charnwood Leisure Centres Fusion Lifestyle, in partnership with the ‘Sileby Swimming Pool Charity Fund’ (SSPCF) is delighted to offer Sileby residents the opportunity to enjoy swimming and swimming related activities at a much-reduced cost across their three leisure centres in Charnwood.
Further supporting their goal to provide quality sport, leisure and fitness activities to help keep local communities fit and healthy - Fusion are running this pilot project at their Loughborough, Soar Valley and South Charnwood centres, with the support of an initial grant of £1000 from the SSPCF. The grant offers residents a total of 250 reduced access swimming visits at an affordable cost of 50p per visit.
The initial fund was established by the SSPC to raise money for a swimming pool in Sileby, but is now being put to extremely good use by making it possible to offer swimming to Sileby residents at a reduced cost, at Fusion’s three fantastic swimming pool facilities.
Nick Evatt, Sports and Community Development Manager at Fusion Lifestyle commented: ‘Our goal is to offer the opportunity for everyone to access quality health & wellbeing. This initiative just shows how determined we are to engage with our local communities to offer new and exciting opportunities’.
Mel Wilson, lead Chair from the Charnwood Swimming Pool Fund Charity commented: “Sileby Swimming Pool Fund are pleased to announce their partnering with Fusion leisure centres in Syston, Mountsorrel and Loughborough. This exciting partnership is available in leisure centres from 1st April. The charity believes this is the best way to provide swimming for all the family with good public transport links”.
